were playing at least 5 songs off their new album during their recent tour... how is that a nostalgia act? yes, they're going to play a bunch of their catalog, but they've been playing a lot off the new one, which i can guarantee will not happen from ANY of the other bands on the bill, most of which i'm a fan of...

TS- one of the best live bands... and most of their LP's are not bad either although they lack the punch of their live shows.

Jon Levin is playing guitar for Dokken. He was formerly of Warlock in the '80s.He grew up as a Lynch fan,so he shreds pretty much the same way.Their last record was really good because he made Don a tape of his favorite old Dokken tunes (not even necessarily the hits)and had him listen to it before they started writing.Saw them live in '07 and they were really good.Don doesn't hit too many high notes anymore, but they're still good.

^^^I hope it's Phil Lewis and Steve Riley's version they are great live and the better band. Good lineup though...Kix, Ratt, Twisted Sister, Bulletboys, and L.A. Guns bring it live.

So what if you don't like every band here. I can't believe all the bitching and whining from people. If you don't like any of them you don't have to fucking go. If you don't like all of them you don't have to watch the ones you don't like.

I don't intend to watch every single band either but if you're into this genre of music than this will be a great show.

I second the Phil Lewis/Steve Riley L.A. Guns version.

Dokken, Y&T, Bulletboys or Slaughter you either missed the 80s completely or need a rock history lesson. "Lipstick and Leather" and "Summertime Girls" by Y&T are two great songs..."Alone Again", "In My Dreams" by Dokken are both awesome..."Smooth Up" by the Bulletboys...down and dirty rock n roll...Sounds like a great show.

I was lucky enough to catch my all time favorite band XYZ at Rocklahoma.

They blew my ball sack apart!!! It took 69 stitches to sow me up! Just got out of the hospital!!! Worth every minute of it. Plus they made me a little tighter. ;) Like they do with woman after they have a baby. Feel like I'm 18 again.

Ready to see them again at this show. They sound even better than the old days. Terry's voice is perfect Joe the drummer rocks! ( I think it was him that spit my ball sack). Pat the bassist is rocking the stage like the old days, and Tony the guitar Shred Master kicks ass!
