IMMORTAL: North American Tour Dates Announced - Dec. 18, 2009
Abbath, Horgh, Apollyon, and Demonaz of the Norwegian black metal band IMMORTAL have issued the following statement:

"North American hordes, we are coming your way! After the fantastic experiences we had in New York and Los Angeles in 2007, we are returning next year, and this time we will make sure we visit our Canadian hordes on the East coast as well! We will see you during Easter 2010, which will be a dark and cold one!"

Confirmed tour dates for "Blashyrkh in North America 2010" are as follows:

Mar. 27 - Toronto, ON – Canada @ Opera House
Mar. 28 - Montreal, QC - Canada @ Metropolis
Mar. 30 - Brooklyn, NY @ Masonic Temple
Apr. 02 - Los Angeles, CA @ The Avalon

VIP meet-and-greet tickets are available for purchase:

They will be limited at each show and will include a laminate pass, early entrance to the venue, a limited print poster, and a signing session with the members of IMMORTAL following their performance. The VIP tickets for the Brooklyn, New York show will include an additional meet-and-greet with the band after their sound check.

"All Shall Fall", the new album from IMMORTAL, sold around 3,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 162 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD landed at No. 7 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

"All Shall Fall" entered the German chart at position No. 33 and Finnish chart at No. 20. In the band's home country, the CD landed at No. 23 in its opening week and moved up to No. 21 the following week.

"All Shall Fall" was released in North America on October 6 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD, which was issued in Europe on September 25, was recorded at Grieghallen and Abyss studios in Norway and Sweden, respectively.

And I am sure for less then 40 bucks you were not even 20 feet away from Bono or Edge, more like 20000 feet and nose bleeding. But not shooting you down cause that is great for U2 so good deal. This is for hard core black metallers. I don't know bout Brooklyn though. May affect attendance cause people don't know bout the venue and looked it up, 2 subways from Penn Station and a short walk after that to get to. They may not sell all the VIP's this time. 75 tickets is not as much as there were for BB's, it looked like there was a lot more. With spending over 100 on Opeth, probably just going to take my chances with the regular ticket. Well see though. Last time the rail for Immortal was AWESOME and may not be able to get a spot on the rail with a reg ticket. Who knows? I am def hoping for a venue change, Moving the show to NYC would be better for them. I am sure I am not the only one that would like this. Masonic Temple looks like it holds a lot though.

Dude I'm from Jersey too. It'd RULE if Immortal played Starland. They'd like Starland. Much bigger then BB's. Seriously why Brooklyn and that venue. Not many people know bout that venue. Only other show I know of that was there this past year was Sunn 0))).

there has to be, 3,300 is pretty good in the US for a band like Immortal. And Maideneer, I'm sure U2 would charge about $2,000 to play that venue in Brooklyn.

it's not that brooklyn is far away it's that it's in a ODD venue in brooklyn and it's TUESDAY night not even a weekend. People not wanting to drive or take 2 subways may avoid the show. but w/e though well be whether it'd be VIP or regular ticket. Again your not only paying for the meet n greet and signing your pretty much paying to guarantee your spot on the rail (that is if you like the rail and are not a pitter) Getting the regular ticket is big gamble more then likely one of 2 people will be in front of you.

Even thou money is tight in our household I always seem to find some to purchase Immortal merchandise and records and these four stinking dates are all I get in return. The closes show is like 750 miles away. I hope your just testing the waters for a bigger show.
